Healthy Weight Loss

There are a lot of factors that affect our ability to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight. We try to classify those factors into two categories.

  1. Mindless eating: These are people that eat junk food and whatever they want, not considering the consequences.
  2. Mindful eating: These people are conscious of what they eat. They are eating healthy foods but are not losing weight.

Our approach to weight control is to identify the present reality of each person and work with them from there.

There are factors that impede weight loss such as food sensitivity, chemical and heavy metal toxicity, low thyroid function, digestive problems, and many other factors.

We start by doing a comprehensive health evaluation using Nutrition Response Testing to identify any physiological or pathological factors that might impede weight loss. Our designed clinical nutrition program is then used to eliminate those barriers and facilitate weight loss.

Everyone is different and a diet that works for one person may not work for another. We will work with each person to identify their individual needs and devise a plan that works for them so that they can lose weight without feeling deprived. It is not a fad diet or a quick weight loss that you cannot sustain over time.

Our focus is on lifestyle changes that will help you attain and maintain a weight that is healthy for you.
